Gatorbacked my truck this weekend and it is AWESOME!
It came out better than I even expected. As promised I took pics as I went along. I did this in my garage and It took a lot longer than I expected (15 hrs!! Saturday-Sunday) ???, but I took my time and tried to make sure everything was just right and I did it without any help. I borrowed a HVLP spray gun from a friend (painter) and bought the materials listed on the Instructions at Home Depot. Since I did it inside the garage many of the pics were dark, but here are the better ones.

Got any pics closer up?  It looks pretty and shiny though, no doubt! How long did it take ya?

All in all it turned out great...The taping probably took the longest 5+ hours, but thats not to mention the scuffing ???.

Let me know what you think...

Sorry for jumping in too soon.....those 5+ hours were worth it, the results is very very nice. ?Looks brand new! Now my question is: Do you think you will be getting out of bed tomorrow? ?Seriously....a AV to be proud of for sure!! Next time I'm in your neck of the woods, will you do mine if I bring the tape? ?

thanks... The only part I'm wondering about is the Anti-Fuel stain I put on under the fuel door. I put it on evenly and on the whole back panel, but if you notice the last pic there are a few spots that are a slightly different gloss. I don't know why it did that, but Robert at Gatorback said it is possible it still hasn't cured completely in that area and it may still blend in. I'm gunna wait till the end of the week and see how it shapes up.

Mamamia,
No problem, you bring the beers though!

You got a deal! A keg gonna be big enough??
Let's us know about the spot, hope it is a case of it just needing to dry. Otherwise, you can just put one of those car band-aids on it and no one will ever know.....(just kidding, don't do that...) ?

Looks great..!!!  You go with the 03 or later color or black..  Its hard to tell in the pics..
Nice job I must say..

Thought so but wasnt sure..  Now I am getting the bug again..  So want to do mine.. but will have to de modd some things first

Thanks guys. I appreciate it. I am going to the wash tomorrow so that will be my big test on the overall durability of the coating. Cross your fingers for me. I'll let you know how it works.

Thanks! I forgot to mention that I also sprayed the bottom of my bed covers. I didn't like the idea of taking them off just to see the old grey color underneath. It worked great, although I had to unscrew the locks on them and pulled off the rubber seals.
