I just thought I'd drop ya'll a note to say thanks for the info on here.
Yesterday I ran into a fellow AV owner at Home Depot. I noticed that his cladding looked stellar and asked him how he got it so nice looking. He told me he had it "restained" at the local dealer. I'd been using Mothers Back to Black every couple months til now.
I was intrigued, so I thought I'd check it out here to see what I could find, and looky what I found... everything I could possibly ask for and more!!
I have an 04 WBH with a tad over 40,000 miles, but luckily I have an extended warranty so I can't imagine I'll have a problem getting service performed. My AV is Summit White. I have limo-tinted windows and smoked taillightz so I'll be going for the Gator Black if they'll do it.
I'll be sure to get some before & after pics on here when it's done
Thanks to everyone!
Update - 4/11
I finally talked to my local Chevy dealer today (Maher Chevrolet in St Petersburg) and I am happy to say that I have an appointment to have my AV Gatorbacked next Thursday. I told him I was weeks away from 3 yrs since I bought it and have 41000 miles. He told me "no problem... come on down".
That's what I call service.
I guess that's why my last 3 vehicles have been Chevy, as will the next...
