But I had VERY good reason to!
Took my AV into the dealership on the morning of the 14th... one year to the day after I bought it. Minor issues, drivers side lumbar support that they didn't fix right the last time, air conditioning that they didn't fix right the last time, windshield weatherstriping flapping when wet that they didn't fix right last time, plus they had to replace the front bumper cladding, give it an oil change and rotate the tires. While a lenghty list, all pretty minor issues.
Anyway, I'll leave out a lot of the inbetween but they gave me a Chevy Cavalier for a loaner car (I'm 6'4" tall) after they figured out it wouldn't be fixed on the 14th.
So here it is, the 15th, the day before my birthday, still no AV. Go to pick up a pizza in my rental go-kart and I'm in the parking lot and I'm even friggin signalling to make a left turn into a parking spot.
I noticed an AV coming towards me while I'm making my turn into my parking spot. It wasn't that close, it wasn't like I was cutting it off, but I wasn't super familiar with the car so I was being careful pulling in.
Well, the soccer mom in the AV that didn't give a **** about me decided she was gonna keep going and wasn't going to be bothered with slowing down to allow me to park. So she speeds up and tries to pull infront of me... blocking me from pulling into my spot. And she gives me this dirty look and expects me to back up and move like I comitted some crime for getting in her way.
I wasn't happy about not having my AV and getting annoyed that I probably wouldn't have it for my birthday and was REALLY upset that she had her AV and had ZERO appreciation for it, so I put my go-kart in park, got out, gave her the finger and walked in and got my pizza... leaving the go-kart right in her way.
I was only in there about a minute, but oddly enough, she was still there when I got out, she refused to go around me... she waited until I backed up and moved before she moved an inch.
So yes, I gave an AV driver the finger, but gosh darn it she deserved it and it made me feel better about my AVless situation.
