I'm interested in knowing who's product's forumulation GM stole and repackaged to sell at double the price. That's just the pessimist in me coming out.

Seriously, though, does it work well? I notice that it says things like "clean" and "black plastic" as opposed to "protects" and "gray plastic" ???

The service manager, who is a friend of mine, said it is incredible how good it does. It even repairs scratches. I will test it on my AV and give the results!

Keep us posted. I am also wondering about the black vs gray plastic.

Gm tends to buy this stuff frompeeps like meguiars and what not and have it relabeled......

I am curious....and may well test it...

Yea it might come in packs of 6 but is only 16 dollars!! At least the fix is cheap!!

OH, this is the supposed "fix" for the faded plastic? Now I AM really skeptical, especially at such a cheap price. If it does a good job and is that cheap, though, we may have a winner!

The product number works at gmpartsdirect.com but they are sold in packs of 6. What a crock!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm ARMA dillo? hehehehe

Just tried to buy - they are $15.14 EACH!!

Extended Price, with shipping, is $109.01

Damn, thought GM was giving us a break... hahahahaaaaaaaaaaaa!!

Not worth it too me.......too much money.....

yeah, that's what I figured. As if.

for that much jack, I'd buy 303 ($20 for 32 oz. at expensive marine retail stores). Who wants to bet that 303 isn't a better product? Trim shine for me until someone can demonstrate that this stuff is magic.

So I would say if you have fadded panels! and still in warrenty, I would take it back to GM!! Why have you do all of the hard work!! I would let them do it since it is their problem!!

hey Wiki, when you gonna try this out? inquiring minds NEED to know :) and soon (y) ;)

OK, guys....here is the deal. It took me however long from when I started this thread till now to do the 3 panels, the sails, and the bumper area. First step is to wash and thouroughly dry. Next you apply this cleaner that cleans the cladding. This step actually removes the fadded crap!  Next you wipe that all off. Then you apply this protectant shine stuff that has the consistancy of REALLY THICK elmers glue! This stuff is a pain, but it does the trick to make the cladding shine up!!! Finally you buff off all excess and your done.

I haven't done any water tests to see if it smears down your paint job, but it has a dry feel after your done. No oily residue......unless my hands are so numb from all the rubbing!!! I think in about 3 hrs I should be able to do the entire AV!!

Pics to follow, but I don't have any comprison before - after!!

Some pics, but they don't do it justice. I tried 303, armoral, zaino tire shine......none of them did what this product did!!!!!

These panels are only 15,000 miles old, but the AV is parked in the sun, and the fadding was very obvious.....including round spots that were white.

that's a positive report, I'd say...

You're right, it does look good. Maybe I'll learn my lesson about being so negative now :-X

Thanks for the info Wiki! Let us know how the rest goes.
