GM Hood Deflector Rattle

All,
Just got my new Av. a few days ago. I am very happy with it. I can't wait to start modifing it!!
I bought mine as a demo and it came with the bugshield, splash guards, and the vent visors.
I notice that a few of you talk about some 2 way tape placed somewhere near the cowl to eliminate a rattling noise when driving down the freeway. When the radio is off and the windows are up, I can really hear this rattle. Where does the 2 sided tape go and I wonder why the dealer didn't use it when they installed the shield?
I really don't want to waste a day and take it back to the dealer for them to fix, if its something I can do quickly myself.
Thanks
Todd

All,
Since I work at GM, I thought I'd go right to our internal SPO website.
Here are the GM directions for installing the hood deflector.

I have it as a PDF file but it is too large to post
If anyone would like it, please e-mail me and i will send it out.
Thanks
Todd

If it doesn`t mention the tape, it goes under the rubber at the sides of the windshield. Not too big of a deal. Someone on here had instructions that will explain it very clearly. Only takes an hour at the most, if you have a torx bit.

Also, if the deflector itself is rattling, check the nut plates unfer the leading edge of the hood. I'm not sure about the GM branded deflector, but my DriverDesign model used steel nut plates for mounting in the five under-hood holes. After a few weeks, these nut plates got loose and when trying to spread apart the "spring-like" sides, they broke. I went to the dealership and they gave me nylon inserts that they use and recommend. Hasn't been a problem since and that was 6 months ago.
