Got A Call From Someone At Manu. Plant

G

GTA350

??? I got a phone call last night from some lady saying that she work at the manufacturing plant that makes the Avalanche and wanted to do a customer satification Survey. Has anyone else gotten this call? Just curious.

no calls here, that is strange, as long as the AV's have been on the road and now the phone calls start, that is odd

GTA350, maybe she liked your AV and wanted to get to know you ;D

Miss Avalanche :B:

No accent of any type. I have recieved a customer satifcation letter and a congratulations letter that has a free Avalanche window sticker coupon if I buy $100 of other accessories. This also included a one page Chevy Truck accessories page but I got this package prior to the call.
She was asking specific questions to how the interrior/exterrior was, rattles or noises, electrical, mechanical, ride, comfort, leaks, etc. Who knows

I got the factory followup call, too. No Spanish accents, so I imagine it's some telemarketing group follwoing up on behalf of the factory. They called about a month after I got my Av.

My wife got a call from the Oldsmobile people after she bought her new van last summer. She had a couple of complaints for squeaks and rattles. I think someone else from Olds called her after that to see if the dealer was able to fix them.

I got the same phone call about 1 month after I got my truck. I did mention my dissatisfaction with the soft brake pedal. Yes I got the phone call. I think yours was legit too.

I got called twice. The second was following up on several suggestions/statements I had made to the first caller. Very possitive experience - both times.

It was most likely the real thing. I retired from Lansing Car Assembly and when the Grand Am, Olds, and Buick versions first came out back in 85 we had a crew of employes who called customers wanting to know what they thought, likes, dislikes, complainsts, etc. about it to help us focus on problem areas. To me that is a sign the factory cares, as this doesn't come from upper management but on the local level. If you're not satified with the vehicle than that is their jobs and future.
