To anybody looking to get the articulation headrests for their 03 and 04's as ours had that option deleted. I found a guy on ebay that helped me out in locating some. I first bought a set of the Wheat H2 ones for may AV as they some what matched my Tan/Neutral interior. I asked him to keep an eye out for a set of matching ones for my 03 and he true to his word within a month or so emailed me. So I finaly got a match for my Tan/neutral interior. As you can see I've tried a few times before I got it right.

Very cool I need aset of headrest for my 02 charcoal.

He sent me sample Pics of that he had picked up and he had a set of the Charcoal ones in the pics. PM me and I'll send you his email to contact him directly. I paid him $65 plus shipping to get them and that is well worth that as the dealer quoted me 80 each for the inside parts and I would still need the outside covers as they are a different size from the 03.

I love the Articulating head rests as they were on my 01 Silverado I traded in.

I thought the 02s already had them?

Thanks Handmade, but do you have a link ??? At those kind of prices, I may look into finding a pair of charcoal to cut into to install monitors later. I don't really care if they are articulating, so if someone gets a set of charcoal leather and wants to sell their old ones, PM me. Then I can take my time and still have headrests in the AV while I cut out for more A/V monitors.

Trafficman and HeavyD
The articulating ones are the type that ratchet/tip forward and are very useful as well as feel good. They deleted that option in 03. I love mine.

I paid $18 for shipping and they were well packaged and protected I think it was the exact cost on the box If I remembered.

He sells them on Ebay alot, the H2 and Cady colors but appiers to get them at times in Chevy colors so it is hard to get the colors we need from pictures but He knows what color are what.

HeavyD email me so I can forward you to him. I already sent someone to him that emailed me. I don't know how often he gets them in but He came through for me.

The ones I have now that I know longer need is the Lighter tan or Shale color which I bought from someone on Ebay that turned out to be wrong for my Tan and I have a set on the H2 Wheat colored ones that I bought from this guy he stated that it was not a match except for the H2 and I knew that going in just wanted to have a set hoping I could swap the covers But they are different sizes but still used them for a couple of months as it was close and just like the feel of the articulating ones.

Not sure if some can use these for something but?

I asked him about posting his email address and will wait for a response from him before I do and he gets flooded with requests. I think I'll forward him a link to the web site so he can maybe post as he gets in a color.

Thanks HM I already checked him out he has for the H2 he said they would fit but the colors would not match and yes the 02 has the articulating hr I just didn't know thats what you call them.
THANKS DAVE
btw I'm looking for the graphite.

If anyone comes across a set to match '04 dark charcoal, please PM me.

I didn't even know these were on the 02's. I've had a couple other vehicles with them and loved them.

TIA

To those that want to contact Ray, he was the guy that hooked me up with my headrests. Like I said before he mostly sells the H2 and Cady ones on Ebay and at times Will run across of Chevy ones. I got word back from him that he didn't mind me posting his email address on the site.

So email him and tell him what your looking for and maybe he will come across some that match or you can recover a set that he has. The H2 models I used for some time that were close to the Tan but did want the exact color and he found them for me. Your orignals covers are smaller than the Articulating ones so you can't just swap them, just to let you know

Hope Ray can hook others up as well. (y)

I was lucky, I guess. Before I took delivery of my Av, I ordered Visualogic HR monitors. Apparently they (dealer contractor) had some in the same color/material HR's for exchange. Well, that solved that. Now I need the '02 U/hood lights!

Has anyone got a pair of 04's in dk. grey from this guy? Is it a correct color match?

Here'a little secret. Go to a GM dealer, GMC, CAD,Chevy whatever, find a vehicle in stock that has what ever accessory you want, even headrests, write down the VIN, go into the parts dept give them the vin, that assures you of the trim code, have them look up the part, give you the part# and order it from whatever GM part distributor that you can get the best deal. I'm sure there are many guys in the club that have sources. If you work at an auto related business you can get 15% off GM list. By the way, a lot of dealers operate on a "Matrix" which means they sell parts higher than GM list to the retal public.

If you are still looking for a pair of these, there is a pair on eBay now. They are from an 04 AV in dk. charcoal, non-articulating.

Also, for anyone that wants the articulating headrests but can not find the correct color match I am curious to know whether anyone has considered buying off-color ones and having them re-dyed at a shop that does interiors.
