With all that has been said about coordinators being legaly a part of this club and any suits arising from planned events, I feel EVERYONE I have MET at events is a AV friend for life!! That will never change, and my love for cruises GTG's and a simple drink with an AV'r will always be there too. When Chief slipped up and vocalized his position on this topic.....I HAVE TO make myself VERY CLEAR about this.....I am no longer part of this clubs activities as a moderator, coordinator or any other guiding, leading, or organizing role.

Once again:
1) Personal strong position.
2) MUCH love for relationships that will never die
3) Still enjoy the fellowship ( please invite me to your GTG)
4) Not a part of CAFCNA Coordinating, moderating, or managing structure

Here is just a thread created to voice what you would like to do at the beach! There are no guarantees that we can do it all :p....just post your thoughts and wishes. ;D Soon, the GS-GTG committee will be getting together and be planning things!

Give us your ideas.....especially if you have been to MB >:D

(Anyone got like......a net and ball? LOL)

I'm in on this! (No net or ball here though...)

I'm in for that too...have a net, no ball (I just don't like the sound of that LOL....)

Also Dixie Stampede would be fun as a group activity I think for those that haven't been b4. Would have to reserve tickets fairly early though.

Volleyball is good ..... I'm game for that .... I have a ball for that ... but it's not hard and needs to be pumped up ....

if fire on the beach is ok ... then we can roast marshmellows .... hot dogs ....

OK, serious question here guys... How many people are bringing kids? In June my daughter will be almost 3 (Sept b-day) and my son will be 9 months (also Sept b-day). If there are a decent amount of little kids, then they will all have fun together, but if I'm one of the few lugging--er, I mean hanging out with--a 9 month old, maybe that won't be too fun.

Im going to try to answer some of these....

Bon fires are not allowed on the beach :6: Great idea though! Myrtle Beach is known for their clean beaches. You will LOVE the beach once you get down to it.

A show is a MUST on this one too. The ECR group went to Dixie Stampeed and LOVED IT! We might do that or Midevil Times! Will look into this one!

Let me check with the fire chief. We may have an area at the hotel we can do a bon-fire. No promises....but when I go scout, I may be able to find a place. Fire, beverages, friends......sounds like a great time!!!!!

I'm working on convincing my wife that she will like this. We haven't taken a real vacation in a while, so maybe this could be part of it. If we all go, then we have a little boy who will be two then (March b-day). Beware, though, he's a little ladies' man ;D
