just got back from herndon, VA and me and the family had a very nice vacation. spent 10 days there going to places such as aerospace museum @ Dulles, Busch Gardens, Shenendoah's (camped for 3 days on Lewis Mountain), Luray Caverns, Splashdown Waterpark, and drove up to NYC for 1 day. went to DC, but the Reagan services made it more difficult to sight see than in past visits. wanted to get in touch with a few VA guys but brother-in-law kept us going, and i never got close to a computer to read any messages. i am so envious of your city/state cuz it is so clean and beautiful. saw a few avs & exts, but not nearly as many as in the south. trucks in general were scarce compared to say Louisiana and Texas for example, but then again i've never seen anyone driving a bentley or a ferrari down "here" either. Stopped in Tennessee for some of those (illegal in Louisiana) fireworks. The weather was less than desirable for a vacation, but then again it rained 8 out of 10 days at home while we were gone.

oh, and i found that the people in VA are very friendly which is not the case for most places that i have travelled.

i do love visiting VA, but it's nice to be home.

glad to hear you had a nice time. i like to visit your neck of the woods as well. i do not know anyone that currently resides in Louisiana. i do go through there going to Texas. i justt hink that part of the U.S. is nice. i had a blast with the Texas crew. maybe i have to get to Louisiana for a GTG there next.

Did you drive your AVy down?

I saw an AVy with Lousiana tags awhile back, not sure the color and such.
I think it was in Reston, or on the Fairfax County Parkway. Then again, might have been route 7 :) I gotta stop racking up the miles so much.

nope, didn't drive the av, but in-laws do live right off fairfax parkway in herndon. the wife's yukon was more convenient for getting stuff from the back w/o stopping.

Yeah, makes sense, I've seen tags from MI as well, but no one seems to be members here.
