David,
I just finished veiwing this last video. I have to say without a doubt this has brought tears to me and Joanne both. I served 22 years military and in several conflicts. The song you chose brought everything home for us as it was her special chosen one when I did finally return Desert Shield and Storm as well as the end theme of my retiremnt ceromony.
So many have served and still do in so many different ways. We all in our own small way, add to the patriiotism we have here at home.
This short video in my opinion will truly touch the hearts of so many of our members and our troops as well. Thank you does not even come close to the gratitude and respect I have for you for making this our closing video.
Mike, (TINMAN)
As the host of STI II, You are the catylyst behind this entire display of support for our servicemen and women. It would not have been possible without you and Judy hosting us in Savannah.
Thank you.
A simple yellow riibbon as a sign of remembrance has taken on so much more meaning through this past weekends culmination of events and everyone in attendance. The innate talents of you both to bring this to us in memory and all in footage speak volumes of your patritotism and dedication --- - ---I honestly don't kow what else to say.
You have my upmost sincere respect and admiration
David,
With your permission I'd like to get a few copies to send over to some of the troops in Afghanistan and IRAQ as well as those stationed overseas.
We're a small bunch in their eyes but this would help so many of them to know that we, as a family of AV enthusiast's and close freinds (FAMILY) thought of them and wanted to recognize their sacrifices for serving our country and making us all proud to be Americans.
A one mile long line of trucks with Flags and Yellow ribbons did make a statement.
GOD BLESS THE USA ! ! !
I know it goes without saying but, thank you all for "wearing a Yellow Ribbon"
