I noticed this the other day and it did it again yesterday.

I put my left turn signal on, and my four way flasher come on,

right signal works, and the back to left, 4 ways, right ok and back, and then it seemed to be fine.

It did about the same thing yesterday.

I know I will never get it to do it at the dealer so I not even sure I am going to take it in.

Anyone else had anything like this??????

Check all bulbs for a burned bulb or filament in a dual filament bulb.

Huh? ???Still trying to decipher the problem description. Can you edit in some puncuation? Then I'll try the same thing and let you know the results. (y)

Ohhh, okay, never had that happen. Hazards come on with the left turn signal? Maybe it's a feature for senior citizens that haven't had their eyes examined? :0:

Please take take that as a light-hearted joke. My Dad is in his mid seventies and is still a good driver. And then there is Paul Newman, who still drives very fast (in one way traffic).

Do the indicator lights just flash or do the actual turn lights operate?

A filament that burns out and shorts to the other filament in a dual filament bulb will do wierd things. So will a bad ground on a dual filament bulb - where energizing one filament will energize the other circuit through the two filaments in series. Let us know what you find out . . . this one is strange!

They do flash, like I have the hazzards on, I looked at my mirrors and they where both flashing.

I have not checked all the bulbs yet will do that tonight.

It has only done this 2 times that I have noticed, you would think a short in a bulb would all the time. :E: :E:

I agree with the others, Its probably an intermittent short in one of the bulbs.
I havent seen the problem around here mostly because no one uses the turn signals.

Intermittent makes it lean less to a blown filament or bulb and more to a poorly seated bulb. Remove each, typically they'll have some dielectric grease on them. Wipe the excess from the bulb and socket, leave a nice even coat, reseat bulb. Do that for all turn signal bulbs and I'd bet you won't see the issue return.

Had the same problem in a silverado. First they changed the stalk and that didn't do it. Then they found out that chevy went to a multipurpose flasher and that is the part that has to be replaced. That fixed my problem.

Wow that's a new one. Sounds like a trip to the dealer is in the future.

My AV is in the shop, I will let you guys know what they did to fix the problem.

Had that problem,... was in several times to the shop before they fixed it by changing the flasher unit.....Now it is an improved flasher unit,.... and much louder......

Well I finally got it into the dealer, and at first the could not duplicate the problem and did nothing.

When I went to pick it up I got it to break in about 30 sec.

After talking to a couple of tech, one of the guys comfirmed that it was a flasher, and he a replaced one before, they ordered the part.

Had to take it back and replaced in about 10 mins So far so good!

I think it is louder!
