I?ve been reading a lot of inputs about different headers and some problems associated with Edelbrock installs but I still cannot decide on which manufacture to go with.

I?m looking for the best bang for the buck. Trying to stay under the $400 range.

Thanks for the info. I saw this poll but it only asked what you had installed and only 13 out of 67 folks actually had installed headers.

This is why I?m asking what kind to install. I?m looking for the best bang for the $$$. I need something to go along with the Keystone Good Hood and K&N FIPK Gen II setup.

Shipping to Germany a times can be expensive. I have an APO AE address that is considered a stateside address (somewhere in NY) but you can only ship through the USPS. And at times finding companies that ship to an APO AE can be hard. Fortunately I have found a couple of performance companies that ship to the APO AE and I can mod away.

As for German emissions?I?m covered under the Status of Forces Agreement and do not fall under German emission laws

Gibson SS's have nice fit and finish, definitely a good buy IMO but I haven't tried any others. My purchase was based on feedback from numerous GM forums.

Can someone tell me if headers feom either a suv or the 1500 chev or gmc trucks will direct bolt on? My manifold just cracked on my 08 and I want some less expensive one for the time being.
