Love the new body style, but can't stand the headlights. Went to replace bulb with new PIAA bulbs, but low and behold GM changed what was a perfect head lamp assembly. Does anybody know how  to swap the bulbs out on the new assemblies? Does anyone know of any manuals available yet for the 07?

Bulb replacement is typically covered in the owner's manual, surely you received one with the truck :)

We don't have the PDF version for the site yet.

Actually, the owners manual says to see your dealer for bulb replacement.  ???

There are 2 10mm bolts on top of the headlight assembly and one hidden behind the fender lining that will allow the headlight assembly to move forward enough to reach behind and replace the headlight bulbs. That is if your hands are small enough or you don't like the skin on your hands.  :D

No one has figured out how to take the entire assembly out of the truck, yet.

Wow, that's right up there with the customer service award winning concepts!

What's next?  "See dealer for assistance in inserting key before operating vehicle every time"

It could be like the Nissan Altima's to where you have to remove the front bumper to access all the bolts to remove the headlight.

yo i got my 8000k diamond white hid's today.. oh wow they look awesome, wish you could figure out hwo to get them out huh..lol dude, on the driver's side, pull the rubber cover off "has 2 clips holding it on the top", oh yeah the cover behind the light. and you unplug the plus and then twist the bulb and it comes right out.. easy.. on the passanger side, pull up on the entire air box, it pops right up. just take the hose off after the mass air flow sensor and unplug the sensor. there's a cover behind the light on this side also.. take the two top clips out and just move the cover out of the way. unplug the light, then you twist the light pull it out a bit and turn it so the plug faces down again and it comes right out. its actually really easy, just leave the assemblies in the truck.

Tim, would you please run that through some form of translator to make it seem to be English? :)

is there such a thing as a gibberish translator?

here goes: uh, yo, yo

On the drivers side there is a rubber cover behind the light assembly, remove the two clips that are on the top of it exposing the bulbs.
  Remove and replace the bulbs
like in any other vehicle.
On the passenger side remove the air box by pulling it straight up, then remove the hose after the mass airflow sensor and unplug the sensor. The cover should be exposed, remove it in the same way as the drivers side and replace the bulbs.
You might consider not replacing the covers.

this might be easier, in this thread
