I have been having issues with battery drain and found fuse 21 headlight washer fuse in fuse box under the hood. It was corroded when I pulled it out. Does anyone know what this fuse is for, I don?t have headlight washer option on my truck. 2007 LTZ

Obvious answer is the circuit is for a windshield washer system that should come standard on a 2007 AV, as far as I know that was not an option. What was an option on some LTZ AVs is a windshield washer fluid heater system that was recalled.
According to info in the resources section page 563 or so... on this site space 21 is not used. Space 22 says rear washer though so not sure what that is for? My guess is it's a fuse block that was used in the AV and Suburbans and many Suburbans had rear wipers and possibly washers too.

I have the fuse pulled and the windshield  washer works fine . I did notice that some fuse boxes had fuse space  22 where mine is 21 , I double checked  . You are probably right about headlight washer being an option for suburban or another model using the same fuse block . My windshield washer fluid heater was removed by the dealership ( the only time they gave me money back) so I don?t think it had anything to do with fuse 21. I will keep it pulled for now and see if anything does not work . Thanks!
