I have an '03 Northface ~without~ heated seats, and I am looking at having them installed by an auto seat specialist nearby. They want $275 per seat for high/low seat heaters with the switch installed on the front of the seat. What do you think?

They are willing to install the OEM switch at an additional cost (I would prefer to have them look factory installed). Do you think it's worth it? I at least feel that having some form of visible indicator that they are "on" is important, i.e. a light or something.

Feedback?

Thanks for the pointer, Lee. I had read through it, but was wondering if anyone else had it done for them. Although, for about $200 I can do BOTH seats myself and save $350. In fact, for another $200 I can do four seats and still save $150. In the worst case, I can install a set in the Av and a set in my wife's Liberty as a bribe.

Is it really as simple as it is described? I have thoughts of my picture in the paper with the caption:

"MAN IN INTENSIVE CARE AFTER FREAK AIRBAG ACCIDENT"
