Heated Seats

I'm having a problem with drivers heated seat coming on by itself. The back portion of my drivers seat comes on by itself for the first 15 mins or so. After drivng for about 15 mins. it doesn't happen anymore, next day starts over again. Any ideas before I take it to the dealer and get the runaround?

Have not heard of this before....check back in the forum here in thissection there were some issues about the heated seats but not as you mention...I think

Alllin, I know this sounds simple, but I know I accidently turn mine on when I'm using the power window switches. I usually do this when I first start it up or as I start down the road. And its usually just the back, not the whole seat. Just a thought

Say Duke, I thought I was the only one that does that. Seems I am riding down the road, buns start toasting and I look and see three shining lights stareing at me. Ha, now I do not feel so bad.
Allllin, never had an electical short, so take it to the dealer.

Actually, the first time I did it was on my one and only test drive. Naturally I had trouble with the power window switch, being used to the rocker type. A few minutes later, I told the salesman, "Man its hotter than hell in here" Then he showed me the heated seats were on.
