I'd like to know how the Avy handles towing heavy trailers cross country style. I've had the Suburban towing a 2 1/2 tonne trailer up and down some fairly rough trails. How will the 2500 Avy deal with this do you all think?

Ok

since I do not live in the outback, I will try to do the best I can.

I use my AV to transport my 3 ATC bikes. I have a 280 acre plot of land I own. It is located 1 mile of the hard road, down a dirt road used by an old logging company. The AV handles this great. Some times when I get their the wind has toppled several trees, so I must divert through a large old corn field and through the woods to my place using only ATC trails. The Av haules my trailer with the bikes Great.

Hope this helps.

I have the 2500 AV

As for the road: They call it a seasonal road. Why! because you can only use it durning good weather. ?Part of the road looks like a ski slope. I am going to my camp next weekend and I will take some pics with my digital camera.

p.s, Thats the main reason I have offroad lights and a brush bar.

Thanks MrBill, that sounds like a direct comparison with where I will be needing to take my avy (when I get it). I'd be interested in seeing your photos, post a linky picture thingy when you get them done so we can all have a look.

Cheers, Skidd 7;)
