Just wanted to say Hi to the DFW group. We just purchased our 04 DBM Z66 Avalance last week. Fully loaded !cladding. My wife and I both love it. It is primarily her truck. I drive an 01 WS6. We had to replace her old truck thanks to and out of contol driver :( Long story but basically someone lost control on the George Bush Super Speedway, crossed the median and slammed into her. At least I got her into a GM product this time.;)

We live in Rowlett. I can't wait to start the mods.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'll deffinately try to make the GTG. I looking forward to seeing some of the mods you guys are doing.

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, is WBH the RPO code for no cladding? It might take me a bit to get the AV lingo down.

Justin, It's actually Dark Blue Metalic. I got my fill of black with the Dodge. Nothing looks better than black when it's clean but even Zaino can't keep it clean for more than a couple of hours.

Dave, email address below. Thanks for adding me to the list. Any chance you were around Preston and Campbell today? My wife saw a white AV with the cladding painted around there today.

Glad to see you join the Av club. I used to be on ls1.com as WS6Y2K (George) with 00 Pewter WS6. Since my TA is gone I don't go there much. There is some really good info on this site about our Av's. I am no longer in Grand Prairie we moved to Houston over the summer. Hope to see you at one of our TX GTG.

I forgot that you bought an AV. It's good to see some familiar people in here. Have you still got the Chevelle project?

StormSeeker (Chris) from LS1 is registered in here also. I doesn't look like he is very active though. I'm sure I will see you at one of the TX GTG's
 
Yes still working on the chevelle. I have not done anything in the last couple of years. Since I am now needing body work and paint it is going to cost me a arm and a leg, so it has been put on the backburner for now.

Hey Richard. There is deffinately a lot of good info here. There isn't as much traffic in this form as there is in the LS1 texas forum but it is still a great place for info on the Av. Sorry it took me so long to reply. The holidays have just been kicking my ass.

And yes, I deffinately got a great deal. For those in the DFW area considering a new Av. Richard (gearheads7:cool: is the man. LOL

I hope you had a great Chistmas. I't turned out to be a pretty good month at work. I sold quite a few trucks the last week of the month.

I am ordering painted door handles for my Av and I think I have decided to put chrome Silverado SS wheels on mine. I have seen several sets of painted ones for sale around here but now that I am looking for a set no good deals have turned up.

I'll post a pic when I get a set.
 
Glad to hear business picked up a little towards Christmas. Christmas was pretty good except for the little bumper incident :) Deffinately shoot some pics when you get the mods done. I'm seriously looking at the tailgate lock mod for Rod as my first mod. Dawn still wants 22s. Maybe after we settle on the Dodge wreck.

I saw your question on Karma. I have been trying to figure that out as well. I tried to post on it a couple of times but I could never get the post to show up. It works the way I thought it would but now I am sure. Not sure why I got 1 bad one though.

Are you by chance going to the GTG in Plano next week?
