i been lurking this board for sometime and really enjoy reading the posts and learning. this is my 1st post, i bought a 02 av z66 last week 9/30 and am loving it. i got my 20's in today (american racing - maxxims) and am intent on loosing a little altitude (2/3 drop) to get better handling, improve looks, and lower center the of gravity. anyone lowered their av? how's the ride? any hang-ups? my last lowering job was on my 98 tahoe, but we're talking splindles/leafs vs torsion/coils. i am using bell tech, because they are the only one's i trust. have used aim and djm before and was not impressed.

welcome to the site...

check the mod section as there is a lengthy thread on this very subject.....

how much can i get up front by turning down the torsion bars? how will they ride? where can i find a eibach kit for my av? all the leads i found in mods section were dead cold. i would like 2/3 drop. i did the torsion crank on a 96 tahoe 4wd a few years ago and even with shaving .050 off the torsion keys, i only got 1.50 of drop.
