One of my tail lamp bulbs has burned out so I'll be pulling the assembly anyway. So while it is out I figured I do the backup lamp and get the other site.
Ultimate question - how many Watts can I push through before I start burning up housings. I know that they will be short duty (no more than 60 to 90 seconds of uninterrupted use) so I can push them harder than fog lamps or DRL's - but how hard can I go. The stock lights are IMHO pretty darn useless for providing rear illumination.
