To Whom it May Concern,
A bunch of us fellow AV owners have added fully functional power mirrors to our 03 AV. We were told that the power fold option needs to be programmed in by the dealer. We have found that most dealers do not have a clue and are trying to rake us. Some have even come back from the dealership empty handed after paying $80 bucks for a hour of labor. My plead is for an actual GM tech that can help us. From other sources, I have found that the option needs to be prgrammed through the TECH2 and it is basically a menu type approach. I have heard that it is fairly simple, but only a few know how to do this. Dealerships have been giving us off the wall answers. Below is a link to the discussion. Most of the questions about programming are on pages 6-8. I need complete directions to perform this function through the TECH2. Please post your reply to the site below.
