Currently, I'm running a set of 18x9.5" Weld EVO Velociti 6 wheels with 285/60 Pirelli Scorpions. I went that route because I wanted to increase the handling abilities of the truck (due to massive horsepower increases ;) ) without paying a penalty in weight. Lately, I've decided that I'm not really happy with the way the truck looks so I'm thinking about going a different route.

What do I need to do to get a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers in this size to fit:

LT325/60 R18 119S   15.6   32.99   12.83   (9.5)-10.5   3000@65   630

I took the specs from Nitto's website and I know most of you guys are more than familiar with what the numbers mean so no explanation is required.

I assume I will have to lift it?? How much? Will they be too wide for the truck? From Nitto's data, my wheels are wide enough but I'm not sure if the backspacing is correct for a tire that wide. Can anybody help me out here?

Thanks in advance. :B:

Shouldn't have to lift it, just will have to replace the torison bar keys with the Ford Keys. That'll raise the front so there is enough room to get the front tires in.

Another Av guy has that setup on his, sorry I dont remember his name.

There is an avalanche on Long Island that has this setup

He is a member of this club - his name is Powersurge

He is very active on clubavalanche.com - not so much here

He has photos - you will see how it works
