Helping With Goo929 Funeral Expenses

this afternoon as I was working on the dune buggy and thinking of how I should be cleaning the av. my wife came out with that look, you know the one. she was the bearer of bad news and I knew it would hurt no mater who it was because, she had that look :cry:
pete was the one that made me feel comfortable in a crowd of others that also needed to be introduced. he was the one to get things going whether on the web, or on the road. he was the one to get us together. when I first joind, he was the one that sent emails to my box that said WELCOME and that means alot. we will miss you verry mutch and will not forget you. we will carry on what you so dearly loved and devoted so mutch time to. our thoughts and prayers go out to petes family. also thanks for sharing him with us contributions wil be made
and the anual (goo929) run is a must!
also as an idea is one small purple neon in the grill for the remembrance of him in 2003 all ways in our minds and on our avs

I hated to get the word on Pete, he was a great guy and he will be sorely missed.

If you measure the true wealth of this world by the friends you keep, then Pete was truly a rich man.

After learning about this tragedy just now, I cannot begin to describe how I feel. Goo was an awesome guy, constantly pushing the bar as to what he could think of next, he was incredible, I constantly asked how in the hell did he do that? But more importantly he was one of us and we as you guys have been showing through your efforts take care of our own. Pete will be sorely missed and his efforts to help us in any way he could will never be forgotten. :cry:

I know this isn't much, but any member unable to attend the pending services for Pete, and would like a purple ribbon as a reminder of goo, I will be more than happy to mail one to you. Or if a coordinator wants to e-mail me a # to mail for all their chapter members I can mail them to one address.

Donation sent off here. I must thank Goo for the hard work at working on and keeping this very helpful forum up. It has been the best that I have seen. Also wish to thank Chief and all the other Moderators as well.

I hope he is doing well cruising with the midgate down, bed panels off, and the sunroof open to the heavens.

While I might not have known Goo as well as some others, I did have the pleasure of meeting him on the last DFW cruise. An easy man to talk to and willing to share his love for the Avalanche as well as this club with anyone who would take the time to listen.

Goo will be sorely missed by everyone. :cry:

Also, I went to have a decal made like the above image to place on my AV....
but today being a holiday, everything was closed or closed early. I'll be getting one made in the morning.
 
Just remember all the times Pete helped out you or the CAFCNA. ?There are almost 5 thousand members, if everyone donated just $ 1. think of all the money that could be raised to help his family in their time of need. ?

There is not a member in this club who can convince me that they can not afford a buck! ?If you can afford an Av you can donate a dollar to help someone who would help any one of us.

As for the fund in Pete's name, My father has diabetes and I know it's a great cause, but under the cirsumstances, I would like to suggest ? THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION. ? :0:

I was very sad to find out about Pete on another forum. :cry: I left this site a couple of months ago and deleted my account but have returned to pay my respects and make a donation to help Pete's family. Goo and I joined this site at about the same time and I always enjoyed discussing car audio and music with him. He helped me out by hosting my sig for several months and I will always appreciate that. My condolences go out to his family, friends and to the members of this site. Rest in peace Goo929.

This is indeed sad news. :( :cry: Goo was very good to me.. My request and check for a CNFA sticker got lost and he helped me to get one.

I would like to donate, but I do not like to put my credit card on the net. I would like to send a check. Does anyone know who to send this to? Is there an account moderator for the pay pal donations we can send money to to help Goos family out?

I hate to say that it has been a while since I have visited my Av Fan Club...

Needless to say, I am sorrowed to learn of Pete's (Goo) passing. He will be sorely missed on this site...

:0: I believe that things happen for a reason and at this time Goo is blazing the trails ahead of us in Heaven... Way to go Goo!!! We will all be thinking about you buddy, whenever we crank up the Av...
