Ok - I know I'm a little late (TiVo), but I was watching Dream House - Chattanooga and the couple building the house had an Avalanche.  Also either her dad or brother (contractors) was also driving one...

They used their AV to lift some I-beams to one of the top floors - it was a 5 story house - they tied a rope to the beam and to the hitch
 
Not only that but we bought our Avalanche with help from you guys.

So you're the Dream House owner/builder?  I wish I'd known you were a member.  I was just up there a week ago and one of the ladies with us is a huge fan!

We didn't miss an episode (thanks to TiVo).  We thought is was cool since it was right in our back (well front) yard - we live in Cleveland.  Gorgeous location!!!  Beautiful home!!!  Sorry about the out come, but it sounds like you made out on the deal - big time!  B.R. seems like a hoot!  He had us cracking up from time to time.  My wife and I were trying to find it - we're told you can see it from the aquarium, but I have no clue how to get there from downtown.

It's good to see we have a 3rd member from the Chattanooga/Cleveland area!  Welcome by the way.  Are you making it to Nashville for the big MCM event.  It would be cool to have a celebrity there...  >:D
 
It is a beautiful home.  I did see it from the aquarium.  Hope everything works out for ya'. 
 
Couldn't see it from the hotel.  Go right out of the parking lot, and stay on that street, it bears to the left about 1/4 mile down the road.  Follow it to the river and look up and to the left.  Go left over past the riverboat thingy and you'll see it up across the river.  Kind of a stone color.  HUGE and sitting on top of the hill.

Oh, and by the way, while you're there, go by Porkers it's down toward the river on your left and eat some ribs for me!
 
Thanks Eric I stumbled to Porkers yesterday to have some BBQ. President Bush was here I see  but they are closed on weekends. Looks like all the good restruants are closed on the weekend

Off to NAshville and MCM tomorrow

Didn't know they were closed on weekends.  So they were closed yesterday? 
 
I just wanted to go somewhere the president has went(besides Iraq)
Plus I heard it's the best BBQ (next to mine)

I heard that while Mr. Bush was finishing up his speech on healthy living, several Secret Service guys entered the restaurant, started checking everything out and then asked for the owner.  She looked at them in shock and they said "Don't worry miss, the President is coming in for lunch".  Her response...."The President of what?!?!?!?!" :laugh:
 
Like I said it was prom night and we were walking to Porkers and we found these 2 who said thier uncle lived in Nashvillle,I said thats where we were going tomorrow. They said hes the only person they know who has 2 avlanches a blue and a red one Don't really know but it sounds like our MCM leader
