Anyone know what fits the 2009 avalanche 5.3 vortec. Everything says LS based.

It depends on what LS motor you have and/or what heads are on your motor, it's not like bolting on an aluminum intake on an old small block chevy.. What are you looking for in a new manifold?? More torque, high RPM??

It would be more rpm's . But the engine is all stock . Just had it and transmission rebuilt. Looking for ad on to increase hp

My guess is that you already have the same intake manifold that was used on the Trail Blazer SS (6.0L) engine. Can you post a picture of your current intake (with the engine cover removed) to help verify? There is a FAST LSXR truck intake (HERE), but it is pretty pricey. Personally, for a stock engine, you could have your stock intake ported, have your truck dyno tuned, and still have money left over rather than buy the FAST intake manifold. But that's just my $.02 opinion.

The truck intakes are pretty good as is and have long runners which make more torque which is what gets 6,000 lbs of AV moving. You would be better off spending it on cam, exhaust and tuning to get more RPM, or bolt on a Supercharger. But don't forget to budget for a new/upgraded trans because the stock one will only last so long after adding more horsepower..

Of course, we don't know your budget and how you plan to use it, so the answer could be endless..
