Guys I want to change out my stock fog lights and put some aftermarket HIDs in them. I did my low beams with McCullochs, but they do not make HIDs that are the bulb size of the fogs.... Anyone know where I can find some???

Fog HID's are 880's..........I LOVE them.

Yea but from your picture it looks like you have a wbh, I have a cladded one..... The fogs are different sizes if im not mistaken from the clads and non clads....

You may want to check some of the  HID threads...they have them on Ebay  for under $150.00, I think. Crap made in Korea, but who cares at that price. That is about 1/3 of what they sold for a year ago.

I just gave my buddy a call who sells McCullochs, and he told me they actually do have them now for the fogs in the 880 size. So im gonna place my order with him. He's charging me $270 for the kit.

Thinking about it though, I wonder where I can mount the ballasts under the bumper somewhere so there not exposed to the elements and water.

Don't feel bad Trav. The new ones are pretty much junk, that's why I will not sell them. But, at that price, how can you not buy them and use 2-3 sets for the same price??? Here is a link, ?

Just got off the phone with my bud, should have my fogs in by the end of the week. Will post pics after install. Went with the 10k to  match my low beams. This is gonna be sweet  >:D

If the ballasts are a "standard" size (meaning they are just like the Hella ballasts), you can use the waterproof covers that Hella makes (like I did.)  Mine are mounted low with the covers, and I have had no problems at all.  You could also waterproof the ballasts themselves, but this involves the openeing up of the ballasts... a bit of work.

They are the standard size but the also include another smaller box with a built in fuse. Its not all in one like the Hellas are... I might just try to mount them up into the bumper or as close up to the grille and headlights as possible....

Will do, hopefully by friday I will have them, but they are calling for rain which is no good. So we will see. I might be moddin in the rain......

Heres a rainy cell phone camera picture, they don't match makes me kind of upset :beating:

What do you think?
