About 2 weeks ago I blew up a bottom part of a recliner that fell off a truck and was in the middle of the road. It was dark, I had lights in my eyes, and I didn't have my contacts in. In all I think I hit it with my tow hook. It took a third of my bumper off, the fog light, and half of my inner wheel well. I looked at everything and everything looked fine to drive home. Got it home and all of my gauges read fine. My tire pressure sensors were all reading air in the tires as well. I hit the recliner on the driver side, so I am a little worried about the ECU and everything around it. I have a wire hanging down from my fog light. That's about all the damage that I can see till I get it in the air.

Question: Would my battery died from a fog light wire hanging and not being connected to anything? Ever since the accident my battery dies and I got it in April.

I added pictures so if anyone sees something that I missed please let me know.

That sucks!!! I would tape off the fog light wires to keep them from shorting. Also, go through all the wiring in the wheel well to check for damage.

Perform a parasitic power draw test, it will at least find you the circuit that is pulling power all the time.
