I don't see anyone posting from the Houston area....is there anyone on here from the H Town area?  I certainly see plenty of Avy's on the freeway!

i'll be in the area around Thanksgiving

I am long tome Avalanche owner but just started posting used to just read all the post. Then something called work got in the way. Had 2003 LTZ Z71 now a 2013 LTZ 4X4.

Is this still true?

I am usually in Houston for Thanksgiving... maybe we can bring some folks together???

yes i'm going to my brother-n-law in Kingwood area (y)

I am new to the site and live in Houston on the NW side of town near Hwy 290 and Hollister. Was previously in a vehicle collison at the freeway entrance to Hwy290 just past Tidwell and rear-ended a vehicle that was NOT accelerating onto the freeway (just crawling - no brake lights seen). No on-coming traffic on the far right hand lane and no acceleration lane either, I slammed on my brakes but still collided with the individual, my 2005 Chevy Trailblazer EXT was considered totalled from front end damage. And the other person's vehicle was a 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander.

:damon:

Needless to say that I had provided the additional work performed on my Trailblazer and was able to get more back on my truck to put towards my new vehicle. I purchased a 2013 Chevy Avalanche LS Texas Edition used from a dealer with roughly 17K-18K miles, and for less than the other Avalanches that I was looking at on the market. I am very happy with my new Avalanche and just took it on a road trip to Austin, TX this past weekend. Now I am looking for new accessories to add to the truck.

Hope yall are doing well and have a great day.

Cheers!

Well I saw the post on the brochures and have printed out 15 to keep in my truck and give out to other avalanche drivers that I meet or see when I am out and about.

I have updated with my member name and hope to get some more activity for the Houston Area.

Happy New Year's Eve to everyone.

Meet a fellow Avalanche owner and gave a brochure to him last night. He talked highly about his 2008 Avalanche and said that it ran great. He was driving a 2011 Z71 Avalanche last night and it looked very beautiful.

Hope to get more people involved here in Houston and get a group together with more meetings this year.

Be safe and have fun tonight.

I'm just a little bit away, but still want to make sure you get a response.
Most of the Meets and Cruises sections are very silent.
