Just received my front end cover after 2 weeks tied up in customs in Canada. In the box was a thin foam strip that the instructions say goes under the molding by the sides of the winsheild. I am not sure why you would need to do this when the bra/front end cover does not even come near the windsheild? ;D

Any thoughts? :0:

Don't know why they added the 2-sided tape for a bra ???. If you use a bug defelctor, they sometimes cause the seals along the side of the windscreen to slap. I have a Ventvisor bug deflector and have only experienced this slapping noise once following a very hard rain storm. If after installing your bra, you here a sound like raindrops hitting the windshield, that is the seals slapping and you will probably need to apply the tape. If you search for bug delector in stallations you should find various discussions about this. Enjoy your Av!!!!

Hope this helps,

The double sided tape is to tape the side windshield moldings. Just like the bug deflector, the bra will make the molding "flap". The noise can get really annoying.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the insight, I will listen for the sound, if I hear it and I most likely will, I will have to use the tape.

I have both a deflector as well as the bra set. I haven't had the flapping problem with either. I think you'll probably be ok with out it. If not, you'll be ready for it. ;D
