I just got a 03 without the plastic lower half but am woried about the plastic on the back of the cab and bed cover fading or cracking in the arizona heat any sugjestions would be apretiated

Find a good protectant with UV protection to apply to the plastic.

I bought a good uv rated truck cover. When not driving it and if its outside, it'll have the cover on it. As you can see, I live in Texas.
