I just been woundering about this.  I know their is a poll of how many Avalanche / EXT were build "Post link to that"  but is it possible to know how many of our Avalanche / EXT are left in the U.S.?  I think once a vehicle is gone/wreaked the VIN gets a Salvaged title.  Does those get recored to some database?

DO you mean since production or those unsold on dealer lots?

Oh! Oh!...   Pick me! Pick me!

How many are on the road today?  Can we get a Road&Track or Car&Driver or one of those cable shows to do an expose on us?  :drive:

I have one.

:woohoo:

I don't think there is any way to know a number.

first question to ask then is:
HOW MANY total were built?

Good point there.  I doubt that GM or any dealership will send any to the crusher.  All built will eventually make it onto the road.  Besides...what's an error of =/- a couple hundred in the grand scheme of things?

Humm I see the 03 were the best selling year.

Looks like after 06 the numbers started falling off.

not quite  the 2002 model was the most popular 1.5 year run, you have to add 2001 and most of 2002 - till the remodel

Well I see if it's true

2002  89,372
2003  93,482

Now I understand that's calender year not model year.

When someone sayes best selling year, I think model year .  They built 140k or so of the 2002 and 90k ish of the 2003

Im just saying you kina right but wrong...lol

Best Question is:
HOw many 2013 remain on DEaler Lots across america

Looks like the 2nd gen AVs' "softer" styling killed the sales numbers...

This data comes from the Cadillac Escalade Wikipedia webpage.

U.S. sales

Cadillac Escalade EXT

Total U.S. sales

2001 546
2002 13,494
2003 11,256
2004 9,638
2005 7,766
2006 7,019
2007 7,967
2008 4,709
2009 2,423
2010 2,082
2011 2,036
2012 1,934

I wish there was a breakdown of the colors for each year, but I guess I will have to settle for my truck being one of only 9,638 units sold in the US in 2004.

Looks like by 2012 they were having a hard time even giving the silly things away!

The only other car I have owned that was any rarer was a 1979 Tenth Anniversary Trans Am with the 403 and automatic transmission.

That car was one of only 5,683 built in that configuration.

One of those now days in great shape can bring bunches of money.

Wished I would have known that was going to happen back when I was out driving the crap out of it.

:E:

Wow I really do have a classic 1 of  4,709

As of today, there are 2 2012 MY Avalanches and 11 2013 MY Avalanches remaining in dealer stock.

Probably because that was the first year they offered the WBH...
But since the list starts at 2001 ...wouldn't that mean that 2003 is actually the numbers for the 2004 model?
If that is the case...I own the most popular year! lol  (y)

So where did the last Avalanche built go?
