Just got back from y Dealership and played that Onstar game- did not win but was neat anyhow-
I learned from my dealer that IF you were to WIN, that your choice of car is not the only option. You can take a cash equivlent and APPLY it to ANOTHER chevrolet car or truck to Step Up-

That is kina of cool of them to offer-

Just curious at how many have played- go do it as we need a club member to win one..

I can't play the game because I'm an employee :(, but every day I get people in here playing......no wins yet.

Supposedly, there is one winner for every 5,500 plays. That is excellent odds, better than the lottery!

Good luck out there!! Win a lot of Aveo's!!! ;)

Just a theory here :0:

If they have cameras in the winning cars like they portray on tv then there is a certain way of finding out what the winning car is even if you cannot seee the cameras. This is assuming that the camera system is not self contained in the car.

There is an electronic device that is the size of a large pen. It detects transmissions from wireless transmitters such as pin eye cameras. It can be concealed and set to vibrate mode to alert you to the presence of such cameras. Do you get the picture. Go dealer to dealer till you catch the vibration. Then drive home your new AV etc.

Just a thought ? :0:

I think it was just staged for the commercial..

I would agree that that commercial was a stages deal for tv sake-
I highly doubt there is a camera in the "winning" vehicles out there. As the vehicle you sit in is NOT neccesaraly the vehilce your going to get!

Played today while at the dealer but didn't win :6: BUT
I did to get to drive a brand new RED SSR ;D and all I can say is SWEET (y)
The top folds down in seconds, the rumble from the dual exhaust tips is excellent almost reminds me of a Corsa set up? 19" front tires w/20"s in the back.
The SSR logo is everywhere on the truck a sweet ride for a 2 seater.

Sticker price $45k, dealer asking price $56k  ooops wrong thread sorry

Actually, when I was getting my AV's oil changed at my local Cadillac Dealer (they mailed me a coupon) I tried the Hot Button. I had 3 choices of vehicles to sit in. If I would have won, I would have won the vehicle I was sitting in. I tried the $51,000 SRX. I would have given it to my wife and got rid of her Durango.

Yeah, I played and lost at my local Caddy dealer. I want a new DTS but don't want to pay for it.

I tried pushing the OnStar button on two separate vehicles and nothing happened. I guess that means I didn't win.

No, what that means is you didn't follow the directions ;)

There is a designated vehicle (or vehicles) at a dealership that is there for the participation. You get the key, turn car on, press Onstar button and answer a few quick questions to begin the process of the game.

Merely walking up to any Onstar-equipped vehicle at a dealer and pressing the button is is as effective as testing the tire pressure on random vehicles on the lot.

Whats this second chance drawing from people who don't claim their prizes?? I thought they notified you right then if you won. Who would not claim a prize IF they KNEW that they were a winner? I hope this is not a trick just to get some personal info from you!

Butch

might be Butch but, I`m willing to take that chance...they alrady have AAl my info from when I bought the First Avy....if they wanna wheel and deal........... >:D More power to `em...........saw several nice black avys I wouldn`t mind having my(and the Banks)name on

:3:
It probably took me longer to lose than the rest of you..........I got into the car, pushed the button, and nothing - I mean nothing..........so many people came in before me that the battery was dead and they had to get a power supply to jump it. Then I lost anyway....... :8:

I tried, I lost.. The vehicle used was a Tahoe but the Chevy prize odds are better than the other's (proportional with the product family) the car you'd win is an Aveo!
Two Hummers were won - both were in Louisana! :E:
