Just looking to see how many West Palm Beach AVS there are out there. I am in Lantana. No, I don't want to be the sponsor.
 
Hey for you guys in the FL area I will be in the area for 2 weeks Dec 20 to Jan4th. Staying in NorthPalm.

Lets do something. I use to live in Lakeworh about 5yrs ago..

My old neighbor said he liked the AV when I took it one time to visit him so I though this might be him.

The time is about here. Anyone have any days that would be good for a gtg? The 23rd is no good for CJ, and obviously the 25th is bad, so what's a good date for everyone? Lunch is probably a good time for everyone and there is a Hooters on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. Or if anyone has a better idea, let me know.
 
I received you email HOMACK. Almost any day is good for me. I am off work until 1/2/04. The 24th & 25th probably would not work. Lunch at Hooters sounds good to me. Once we set a date I will try and tag 3 or 4 about it in my neighborhood.

Sorry for the late notice everyone, but looks like Corvettejoe and I will be meeting on Monday, December 29th around Lunchtime. Anyone interested in meeting?
We were thinking the Hooters in West Palm Beach on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd just west of I-95. As soon as I have an exact time I'll post.

Sorry we got disconnected CJ. I was out in my boat in the middle of a lake in Lake Wales. I just got back to WPB about a half hour ago. Didn't know how late was too late to call. If I don't hear back tonight I'll call in the morning.
 
Change of plans! Looks like we'll be meeting at Waterway Cafe on PGA Blvd today, Monday, December 29th at 12:00 for Lunch. Then possibly out to a park on Northlake Blvd just west of Beeline Hwy. If anyone is interested, we'll probably be out on the floating bar at Waterway. Hope to see some of you there.

Well, Corvettejoe and I met up for a great lunch by the water at Waterway Cafe. Within a few hours we were drilling into my tailgate installing a remote tailgate lock. Pictures will be posted on CJ's website at www.corvettejoe.com.
The next day we finished the mod and to pay him back for all the help, we went out on my boat for a fun day in the sun with my wife. We had a great time. CJ is a great guy and very cool to hang out with. The mods on his truck are endless.

Hey All

Sorry I missed the lunch. Ever since I joined I wanted to send out an email to see who's in the WPB area. I have contacted 5 local AV owners and told them of this web site. Is anybody planning any cruises \ get togethers \ meetings?

Homack = I would like to hear about the electric door lock for the tail gate

Good to hear from ya! No plans for any GTG's or cruises, but I'm game if anyone wants to start one.
Corvettejoe may be moving back down to this area soon, and then I'm sure we'll be doing alot more AV GTG's.
Do you have ambers on yet? I'm down in the Lake Worth area alot. I'll keep my eyes open for ya.

The tailgate lock is just an actuator mounted inside the tailgate and wired directly to the rear door locks. When the doors lock/unlock, the tailgate locks/unlocks with them. I got the actuator from Audio Advisors on Palm Beach Lakes. The total cost was about $25 for everything, but it took a long time to install. When CJ gets down here we'll have to have a tailgate modding party since he has all the tools necessary for the job!

How come none of you WP boys are coming up to the St. Aug. GTG, too good for us?? I know it's a long haul, but it would be nice to meet some of you. Take the trip, spend the night, have some fun (y)

Thanks for the invite. I would like to attend but have way too many honey-do's ( Just got pool installed ) to finish before I go to Orlando for the PGA show on Jan 31.

Out of all the years I've been in West Palm, I've only seen 1 other set of ambers here. UNTIL NOW. I've seen at least 4 different sets in the past three days.

1 White AV on I-95 around PGA Blvd
1 white AV on Northlake in the Acreage
1 Black AV (Don't remember where. :2:)
1 Blue AV (Don't remember where.)

Where are all of you guys? Let's get a local gtg going here. Anyone? :cool:

 
My grandparents lived in Delray beach The Av has been down there 2 times. They did pass away 1 1/2 years ago. I still drive down for SBN in Daytona at the end of March. And this year we are going to drive down to Miramar,Fla for a tour of JL HQ. It will be on a Tue.. If you want to go please let Chad or OviedoAv Know so I can make the plans... See you all soon
