Wait... What
in the transmission? How can that happen? Are you messing with me? Umm. What
Ok, on a serious note; how can coolant get into the transmission and what are the symptoms (transmission) that this is happening?
The first thing I would look at closely would be the water pump.
You will not always see the leak on the ground if the pump shaft seals are going out.
Get under there and look closely in the area of the pump pulley and the weep hole on the pump.
Also, on both my EXT and my wife's CTS we began to notice the drive belt starting to make noise long before we saw any signs of coolant drips on the carport floor.
During the past year, I have had the water pump replaced on the CTS THREE TIMES.
The first two replacement pumps leaked and the last time we got a "Low Coolant" warning before we knew we had a problem.
The replacement pumps were not remans and were replaced under warranty, but still it is a pain.
I went with a different brand of pump this last go around and so far it appears to be holding.
So, if your pump shaft seals are leaking while you are driving around and the system is under the greatest pressure, you may not see any drips on the ground during the earliest time of the failure.
Only after it has gotten worse might you begin to see coolant on the floor.
Worth a look, I would think.
