How many miles do you have on your Av?

I have 217,000 on my 2002 Z71 Avy. Motor, tranny, differential have all never been apart.,just fluid changes and normal maintenance.
Replaced all u joints at 200k. Great Truck .

Just recently control assembly for HVAC stopped working. I replaced the blower motor last year.
For a short time speeds, 1 and 5 were not working. Now all speeds do not activate. Anyone else experience this problem?

Any helpful tips are appreciated!

Very likely the blower motor resistor is burned up.

Easy fix and the new part is an upgraded design.

I have a 2013 BDE 4x4 with 137,000. Other than lousy gas mileage in town it runs and performs great. It averages 10.5mpg in city driving. If I fuel then get on the freeway immediately I’ll run 18mpg.
Recently installed a 2m70cm ham radio.
Regards,
Eric

The '04 AV (Z71)=> 181K (miles) (converts to 293K km for y'all up north) Runs and sounds great, starts right up every day, just like a Chevy should.. I haven't done this test, but I assume if I drive it off a cliff, turn off the ignition it still will struggle to get over 15MPG.

Failure modes.. In all my years & all my cars / trucks I've only had 2 of these fail, my '92 F150, lost high speed, replaced the resistor bank..., all good, my '88 Vette with digital / electronic HVAC controls, when the resistor (bank) failed, it put the fan in HIGH speed (only), even if the keys were removed. (very confusing to me) I had to unplug the $150 (corvette) resistor to kill the fan..

Hardly a trailer queen. I work overseas, and I only drove it when when I was home on vacation. You think 55K is bad, my mom only has 35K on hers and it's her daily driver. It's also a 2007 and I bought it brand new for her birthday. Every time I take it to the dealer for routine maintenance, they ask if I want to sell it. She loves it. No one expects an old lady to hop out a tricked out AV. ;)

My folks (94 & 93) have 1 car, an 07 Jeep Patriot they bought new, <15K on it.. a bona fide "driven by a little old lady to church on Sundays car"
Friends give me the business re: my '03 Vette, calling it a trailer queen... comically I do NOT do car shows with it.

I bought a 2004 used in November 2022. I'm at 128960 now. My suburban had over 250K when it finally agve up the ghost.
