How much did you pay for your '07, '08, '09?

It really comes down to the price. We both bought used. He had a few black ones eyed up but they sold before he could get to them. I personally would take any color if the price was right. I'm loving the '13 BD blue or silver with the EXT cladding.

I got my 11 LTZ last February with 29k miles on it and fully loaded minus RSE for 37k. Original sticker was in the glovebox and it was 52k originally.

I am personally in love with the 13 BD fairway metallic. I want to get a new paint job in maybe 4 years and either redo it in Fairway, spiral gray, or black with some flake in there instead of going solid plain black again. It wont be too bad I think because factory color was black so as long as I stay dark, the door jams and cracks where it is black wont stand out too much

Just bought a 2008 Z71 LT3(?) clean carfax 1 owner 101K miles.  $15K.  Sure seems like I got a great deal.  I put down a deposit the second I saw the listing online.  There was a line of people waiting to buy if I didn't.  The dealer actually asked people to get out of the truck when I got there.  They were just about to go on a test drive.  Needless to say they weren't too happy with me...Dealer just told me THAT'S why you put down a deposit.

2008 Black on Black LTZ, Loaded, Nav, Sun roof, chrome appearance including the 20" chevy rims.  Just missing the power running boards.
61,000 miles
Sticker was 27K +tax title and fees.
Drove the truck off the lot for 23K.
That price also included a 2 year bumper to bumper warranty.
I would be an idiot not to buy it.

So just a quick update.
When I bought the truck I did drive it off the lot for 23K.(Signed financed contract)
GMAC financed my AV and I got some great news Friday.
The GMAC loan officer called me and said that they had a problem.  ???
The loan officer said some options were listed that wasn't on the truck!
I'm missing the power running boards and the rear DVD player. (Was listed in the sale)
The loan officer said that they were sorry for the mistake and told me that the loan was no longer 23K. They dropped the loan down to 21K!
I told the loan officer that I wasn't going to pay 2K for their mistake. He told me not to worry they corrected the deal and they would cover the 2K.
So now I own my AV for 21K.  (y)

No way.

I think the original buyer of that truck got HOSED for $59k.

He must be in Canada - USD conversion of that is about $54,248 USD. Probably some delivery charges on that window sticker too jacking the price up.

Ok, yeah that makes sense now. WOwsa that is some serious moola.

Yep, we get screwed up here. For comparison, a new 2015 Tahoe LTZ without any added options has an MSRP of $69,545 with the destination fees and all that. Goes up to $79,450 full load. On the US Site, MSRP base LTZ is $63,785 and $73,480 full load.

We're all getting hosed, but we seem to get it worse in Canada.

I bought mind (08 LTZ FULLY LOADED WITH A ROCKY RIDGE CUSTOM PACKAGE, HAVE NOT CHANGED ANYTHING ON IT) January 2009 off the Showroom floor out the door $36,000! It had 21 mile on it! Purchased under a unique situation.

Sounds like a good deal dw007 welcome to the club.

Thanks!  I looked for months on-line.  I have always liked and wanted an Avalanche.  These forums were a big help in making my decision.  The forums scared me away from any 07 models because of the oil consumption issues.  I saw my Avalanche on-line about a month ago at $27,500 and was considering it.  A couple weeks later the dealership was having a sale and I could not believe the price drop.  I rushed to the dealer the next morning and drove it for 10 minutes and said I wanted it.  I was so excited about it I didn't even pop the hood to look at the engine until I got home with it.  I got a good price on the truck, but they gave me very little for my trade in.  I also bought a 6 year 60,000 mile warranty that covers everything for $2,300.  I love driving my Avalanche.  I get tons of compliments on it.

Very few people that I have showed it to knew about the mid-gate feature.  It is obvious that GM did not do a good job marketing all of the features and capabilities of the Avalanche.

Recently just bought a beautiful 2007 LTZ 1500 black with pristine car fax (was a Chevy dealers truck until 55k miles) with 70k miles fully loaded for $23,000 !! Was very happy with my purchase and glad to be a part of the AV fam! :B:

Good deals from what I'm reading.  I got mine in 2011 with 27,000 miles, it came with new tires, new battery and 22" Foose rims for $24999.  I was shopping around for almost 2 months.  It was the best deal I found anywhere and the truck was very nice.  I feel like I got a good deal also.

Just got my first Avy. It's a 2011 LS with 13,400 miles. Still mint condition except for bed and tailgate that must have been scratched. Paid $33,400 but there weren't any available in the Atlanta vicinity with this low of mileage. Leather seats, backup camera, 20" aluminum wheels, bose surround sound, backup camera & navagation system. Price included Sirius XM radio & OnStar for 3 mo.  Certified 7 yr warranty, 2 year free maintenance.

2007 LTZ, White, Factory Nav, Backup Camera... 107 000km (66000 miles). 17 500$ Canadian. Bought on April 23rd, 2014.

No rust, one spot of paint that was redone, the rest is very clean.

Just sold an '08 LT in a private party transaction.  Blk/Blk, 65,000 miles, very well kept, South Florida truck.  CarMax offered us $16k and we sold it private party via Autotrader for $22k.  Hope this helps.

Don't sell to CarMax......they traditionally offer WAY less than the average going rate. This is how they survive.

You're absolutely right about CarMax.  This is the second time we tried them and both times ended up just selling privately.  It took about 3-4 weeks to run the ad, field calls and show the truck, but it always resulted in a much better result.  Heck, $6k for a few extra hours of inconvenience is a pretty darn good rate.

My experience with Carmax was when I tried selling an '85 Eldorado in decent shape in 1995. They offered me $350.  Yes $350.?? dollars. They would have sold it for 4k to 5k. I ended up trading it and got at least 3k in value off the new purchase. They are thugs if you try selling to them.
