Just bought a one owner 08 LT, Summit white, leather, sunroof..... very clean, no rust underneath. 135k for $9,000. Fingers crossed that it will be a good truck! Im a little scared with what Ive read about the FMS on the 5.3, the one thing that made me feel a little better is he had pages and pages of service records......

'07 LTZ, 179K Miles. $4,200. Loaded w/options but not loved. I think they hit everything but the lottery. Engine and trans seem good. I installed Range AFM disabler to try to keep DOD lifters happy for as long as possible. Replaced left hub/rotor, oil pan seal w/upgraded deflector. Front seal. Rear main seal. Updated valve cover/seals. New plugs & wires. Sunroof motor/seals & drain tubes. Getting ready to do front & rear suspension/steering components - Going to keep stock air but all new components. Found a complete F/R set of leather seats in great condition so will be replacing the ripped/torn set along with a real find - An OEM carpet set - Brand new. Just need to find jute backing. Had to replace mid-gate and cross-support with salvaged one. Not super concerned with exterior appearance - Just want it to be mechanically solid and comfortable. If I end up under $15K in, I'll be satisfied.

Wow, you did a lot of work. My 07 LT wasn't in to bad of shape, but I did replace the engine with the same 5.3. Replaced Front bearings, all 4 rotors and and speed sensors. Left rear tail light with aftermarket LEDS. Had rewire left tail light because it was hard wired with no connector(accident). Replaced head lights with Halos. Added a blacked out grill. Added a roof rack, replaced 3rd light with blacked out AFM. interior was in great condition, but needed some cleaning. Added a aftermarket EONON head unit, which looks and sounds great! Also replaced one of the lighter sockets with a USB unit.... Looks very natural. Added a piston to the lift gate for nice easy opening and had to replace the liftgate latch and cladding. The upper dash was missing so replaced that as well. There are most likely some things im missing, but those were the most major. The paint is decent, but I'm planning on getting a fresh paint job soon. My pick is pretty much the almost finished product.

I feel like it was pretty fairly priced but I grabbed my '08 LS for 10k with 175,000. Hasn't given me any major problems since purchased 2 years ago.

New guy here. Very first CHEVY! Picked up a Black 2009 LT with 280k miles on it. Bought it from a buy here pay here dealer that was a repossession from one of their customers (yup they even gave me the repo papers). They were going to keep it but it has a knock (I know I took a chance) - $2600. I drove 3 hrs and towed it back home. Now the engine is in pieces. Please stay tuned!

2007 LT Purchased in 2020 $4500 from mechanic friend. Only 140000 miles. had been used as a work truck but I had no history on it. Did general cleanup of interior carpet etc. Dash was cracked replaced with molded dash pad. Replaced power steering pump and lines, hose to heater core and oil pressure sensor.Decided to just go ahead and replace the front suspension including rack and pinion so in the process of completing that now. Replaced plugs, wires and coil packs. New battery and alternator. Just getting her ready to be my retirement vehicle. Installed onboard nav system from a Silverado I previously owned. Replaced all speakers with Bose. Installed dash cam and rear view cam hardwired. Pulled the instrument cluster and bought a $7 MOSFET chip that my local electronics store replaced for $25 so my odometer would display.
