We only had 42 of the AV's roll on the Sat. morning cruise. ;)

I'm not sure what the total turn out was, but it was over 42 trucks  (y)

These are just some teasers. I have 270 more shots that I'll be uploading to my webshots folders tomorrow evening. I know there were a LOT of people taking pictures, so hopefully we can get a thread going for just pictures or once David has the STI site completley uploaded we can link to that page.

LNerd,

Don't feel bad man...I got some war wounds too! My power-steering is out. I do believe it happend doing the donuts also. I heard a distinctive noise when i turned the wheel all the way and Nikki said she heard it also from outside the truck.

OH WELL...gonna bring it in tomorrow. Hopefully the warranty will cover it.

In your case, it may very well just be a lost weight. I went mudding many times and lost weights and by the time I got to 60mph, i was shakin' like a belly dancer.

Guys, I like to say one of the best things about the meet was meeting you all Face to Face. Brings on a whole new feeling to the club.

Rich, we have an office in Tampa, so I'm sure as hell gonna look you up next time i have to go out that way.

Bison - Seek professional help. Please. LOL..J/k Bro...you made me laugh man! Great to meet you all!

Tinman, Can't thank you enough for encouraging Nikki and I to attend. This was a weekend hard to beat.

Till next time.

Mud!

OK, check out the time of this post! We just made it home. DAMN, that was a long ride.

First thing I did was do a little world wide web browsing.

Will post more tommorrow and put up some of my 1000+ pictures. Gonna go sleep for like 15 hours. ;-)

Janell says hi!

I just got home about 15 mins after A.J. did and got everything unloaded and piled into a new pile on the floor.

Thanks to A.J. and Janell I got back to NJ tonight instead of sometime Monday afternoon.

And for those with pictures, I have added a pictures thread here: http://www.chevyavalanchefanclub.com/cafcna/index.php?board=26;action=display;threadid=17348;start=0

Man AJ that one must be the deluxe model. The one I remember seeing didn't have a receptacle...I think it came with a small shovel to dig a hole

Glad you all made it back home safely.

Hey guys. Man I thought we could not take the AVs on the track...

Man am I bumming now. I woudl have gone to the Hummer thing if we coudl do the Av thing on it. Lanman and I escourted the ailing Wiki home to make sure he got there. :D Now everyone go Awwwwwwww ...

But seriously Renee and I had a blast seeing everyone and the big box in the back of my truck did not hurt either. May be I'll have it mounted by the next rally. >:D

Now I have the moding bug :D :D

Now to find those pictures of what is behind the bumber so I can figure out how to mount this thing.

I cannot believe I miss the June rally. This was so much fun.
I hope to have pictures up soon.

Thanx again to all that made this happen.

CJ :B:

Tried posting last night. Kept getting an error message.

Great time this weekend!!! Glad I have today off.

Tinman, first class show all the way around. Im sure we will never know exactly what it took for you and yours to not only put this togather but also pull it off. Thank U!

Oviedo, U have a teriffic family. Thanx for sharing them with Me and Ang. Im holding off on that mod we spoke about until U can supervise.... Let me know when you come back through here. I do go to places other then Hooters to eat from time to time..

AVmaniac, Sorry bout' holding you up at the fort, even though I blamed it on you on the radio. >:D
Will have to get together with U and yours soon.

Rich UF, Guess by now you have realized that I allowed U to keep your cladding. Only because I couldnt drag myself out of the tent on Sunday before Noon.

Hoss, thanx for the puddle lights brother! Will be coming down to visit the solar heated pool some time.

Thanx to all for making us feel welcome. Ill be making the next one as long as it does not park itself in bike weeks spot. (Hint, Hint) ??? This weekend was a keeper.

Hey STI guys/gals/kids,
Just got home about 45 mins. ago.
Had to drive up to Litchfield Beach for the night.
Glad (most) everybody had a great time.
I know I did.
Again, Thanks to Tinman for a wonderfully planned weekend GTG.
And, thanks to Wiki for the great music.
My daughter REALLY enjoys dancing (I'll be keeping an eye on her in the future).
For the one person that "wished they saved the gas money", what are your regrets/complaints?
Please let us know so that we can make it a better GTG for you as well.

As for the Hummer Track...Why was I the only Z66 that had the nads to join in?
I didn't have any problems. In fact, I think that the Z66 helped on the donut circle. drop it in 1st (which disables the Traction Control), and hit the tow/haul button. Wish I could do those tight donuts on pavement...hum....gotta go...
Thaks guys for everything.
It CERTAINLY was a pleasure seeing most of you all again, and meeting the rest you for the first time.
Hope everybody made it back safe.
Until the next GTG.
Be safe.

Rob

We got back home at around 10:30am today. Stayed in Lumberton, NC last night.

Can't wait to get those hood scoops. I think I'll have them chromed....Wiki. If by some chance I don't like them I'll send them to you.......yea right!! Already installed my bug shield...just one dent to late. :E:
Also love my flag pole...thanks Edward....and Brian. ;D

Was great seeing everyone from Pigeon Forge GTG and meeting all the new AV friends. Debbie and I look forward to the next big GTG.

Tinman, my hats off to you for a great job. And thanks for letting me drive the mule. ;D

Till next time...Flame On..Boo

Hey Guys

AV's Rule!....the hummers.

We conquored the Hummer Track. And what a playground, what fun and what real DONUTS look like.

Thanks for entertaining me.

MIKE

Do you have pic's of the off roading? I checked the STI site and didn't see any :(

Oh yeah,
One thing.
For those that ordered t-shirts, and wanted to pay at the door, but did not show up at STI, Sorry you couldn't make it. But I waited until Sunday afternoon, then sold your t-shirts.
Nobody let me know about cancelations (except MainOne) or mailing their shirts, and I didn't want to be stuck with 11 shirts, so I sold them to those that were interested.
I certainly understand that things come up, and I hope that you guys can make it next time. We missed you there.
Again, I am sorry. But the shirts are on my credit card bill, and needs to be paid.

Rob

Well I got my truck fixed today. It was only about a couple pounds of dirt/sand wedged between the wheel and the brake on my front left tire and it didn't cost me a dime. (y) The guy at NTB laughed at me though.
