If you have to keep count on how much your sending you shouldn't be modding it's not about how much ($) it about how much ( :B: )

Not true.... I kept all my receipts and had to add them up and give them to my insurance company to make sure I'm covered. A smart person would do the same... the car I had before this, I had a ton of stuff in and lost it in a fire and had no proof how much was in it and got nothing for it.

My mods Exceed the Window sticker of the AV when New.
My Insurance Co. has a 42pg Book with Receipts and Pics.
AV is covered for Blue Book + 22K in mods. due to depreciation :beating:

Most likely down to 18K this year.

don't get me wrong I also keep all my receipts but you will never recoup what you put into it ie time and the insurance company will never give you what it is really worth.

There needs to be more breakdown under $500, my 2500 LT was far from need, a few decals, floor mats, and mud flaps = done and with still much farther than a work truck should be.

X2 but I'm way over the other in of the scale, so let us say I don't keep track. Most of the mods I did myself and are one of a kind.

The worst thing you guys could have done for a virgin modder (have only done a few things) is to post actual lists...I'm considering these shopping lists.  >:D

Bud, you may have me beat on number of mods, but I'm probably a close second!  Let's put it this way, there wasn't even an option in the poll for how much money I've sunk into this baby!
Full list of mods and pictures to come soon (new to this forum), but my 2007 LTZ has a little over $24,000 in mods.  And every penny has been worth it...  (y)

If you only knew. LOL

I know I paid twice over what I paid for the truck itself.

I've got to be pushing the upper end of the choices in this poll on this Avy. I'm well into 5 figures if you add up both my avalanches I've owned.

Wow economy must be getting better or people have short memories......

Old geezer in me says spending money on upkeep or practical use needs is OK if you can afford it (disposable income). But it would be a shame if family suffered with bills or you couldn't retire etc. because of money spent on a depreciating item.  >:D

I don't have a purely stock AV but have limited my mods so I can do other things. We all set our priorities in life....... so enjoy .  :B:

Yeah glad I do not have any of those issues.

Retirement to me means I stopped working for other people. >:D

I have about 11,000 in mods right now. Here is what she looks like so far. Have more stuff coming. 37s next and then cam and motor work.

Between all three? Well over $20k

That's all? Hell, I had three at the same time at one point. Sold the first one and still have the two '05s.  >:D

That's why I sold the '04. Had all kinds of money into it and it just sat in the drive losing money. Switched my disposable income to my other hobby  >:D but I'm not going overboard on it. Just about anything I've done is cosmetic and can be returned to stock. Those parts should be able to move to the next bike whenever that happens.

Hey I've only had this truck 2 years!  I've also had a house built and a baby in that time. So somewhere between 7-10k on this truck is pretty good IMO!  (y)

Converted to US dollars the list is something like

  4" tail and chrome = $2500
- 20" Blix and tire     = $3700
