It will be a little while before I can put money into mods. We are getting ready to buy our first home so mods will have to wait.

New radio, Sub, speakers, amp, cd changer, dvd player and 6.4" tv screen, alarm w/remote starter?????

$4700.00

Mike

Saving up for a wedding is pretty much a mod killer...I try to squeeze some hear and there for the mods I currently have...but the blower and wheels I'm afraid are on hold for a very long while unfortunately... :6:

As would be true for more than a few people here, I am well off the scale even after I convert my Canadain pesos to US dollars, After the drop kit and the paint, the rims put me way over. Not to mention a ton of other mods.

Why is 3K expensive? As other have said it can be done cheaper.
I took mine to a small paint shop out of the urban area whose work I had seen. It did a great job. I've detailed the steps on other threads and the materials.

The cost was 2700 canadian. So that is about 1700 US

Sorry Zimms, you mis read my note. I have to remember that inflection is not shown in a typed document. What I was doing was repeating the question and giving an answer. Sorry that it sounded like something else.

I spent about $650.00 on mods

I won't even risk posting the amount on this forum....oneday the wife will check out the site and that would be the end of me.... ;D :B:

I have mentioned this before, but, I suggest that anyone who has over $1K in mods send the receipts to their insurance company. I sent mine in and those items are now covered.
I have replacement value for the first two years of policy, but if they based replacement cost on a stock 1500 I would be out a pile of money.

The title of this thread really should have the words "so far" tacked on to the end. Is anyone ever really done buying mods? ;D

Let's see, I've spent *number crunching*.....about $80 something.....but I have a list made and I'll add as the cash becomes available (y)

Nice Av Loggie!! (y) (y)

I like your A/V set-up. ?I'm assuming neither of those 8" woofer boxes obstructs the rear bench operation or midgate?

You'll really like those white overlay's. ?I got both of mine from 4wheelparts. ?They look great with our custom AVA_LAN_CHE billet A/C knobs.

The FM 40 series dual exhaust is killer too >:D

I'm looking to get rid of my overlay....ever since I seen the silver escalade cluster...I went coo-coo for coco-puffs.... ;D :B:

Thanks!
I had the boxes custom made so I could still use the AV like it was designed. I?m also working on putting a Clarion 6.5 screen for the front passenger, using the Clarion snack mount. This way my wife can drive, and I can play the PS2 with the boys.

Rims and Billet A/C knobs and front grill are on the Christmas list.

Very nice Av I think we all spend TOO MUCH.....>:D

But what the hell you only live once

Tack on another $400+ for the stainless cat-back....we're on a roll.... :B:

I guess I should do a full informative post here covering it all, at least all the mods I can recall.
In the order I did them:

Ventshades: $45
Limo tinting - $135
Flowmaster 40series, dual exhaust - $250
UPD kit - $235 (I think)
Poweraid TBS - $110
Billet Grille - $120
Billet Bowtie - $35
Headlight Covers - $35
Bug shield - $45
Entire stereo overhaul - $1150
White dash & A/C gauges - $100
AVA_LAN_CHE & headlight Knobs - $35
Coming soon -
AVALANCHE winshield decal - $25
TOTAL - $2320
I think that's it.
For now... >:D
