How to clear the DIC ?

Could someone please tell me how I can clear the DIC. The problem is that the DIC tells me that key FOB battery 1 is low. I kept replacing the battery turns out I had a bad FOB. Dearler gave me a new FOB but I don't know how to get the message out of the DIC. thanks for the help.
