:help:  Is there any chance I could get the # and address for the person who installed your 3in. square projectors lights so that I can get my lights replaced. Do you have the name and # to order the 3in. square projectors?  I will order two new stock head lights to be changed out?  Donald

If the link doesn't work you'll have to join the Chevy Avalanche Owners page to see it.

That explains why he laughed when I said I used a heat gun to pull the housing open.

How'd that work out? I've debated trying that instead of using the oven method.

Heat gun blowing into a cardboard box also works too as long as you let the air back out. Have seen that used... Great if you have selectable heat gun.

The oven method is great because you get even heating. With a heat gun this is not assured.

Just fine I júst kept the temp around 400 and it came apart with the aid of several screw drivers.

Like Rodney said a varible temp heat gun works great.

PS make sure the heat gun has a built in cool off mode.
