HPP111 settings

Just wondering if everyone is using pretty much the same settings for HP111. I used the ones I found on a thread from 11H. Does it make a difference if you have two wheel drive or four wheel drive with these settings? How about engine size? Also wondering if disconnecting the battery while you have power settings installed would effect the truck? Forgive me if these are stupid questions. I was kind of confused after reading all the info. Thanks

You don't have to disconnect the battery ... Just follow the instructions in the kit...

I have a 1500 4x4 with stock tires and 3.73 gears, so if you have the same truck, the settings should work ...

If it's a Z66, it should be the same also as long as you have the oem tires ...

a base or 2500 have different settings than I would have ...

The reason I was going to disconnect the battery was for something else, just wondering if it would effect the HPP111 settings already installed?

I think they use a type of EPROM. It isn't effected when the power goes off. That's why the settings aren't lost when you change the battery on a stock truck. Also, just in case, the stock settings are saved in the HPP3. I have one and love it. You should see my friends look when I nail 2nd gear and still break the tires loose!
