Each and every one of you played an important part within this GTG..? ?The STI Newbie?s now understand why we continue the tradition that was started several years back..? We did welcome many new members to the family, and now they understand why we all use a version of Hangman?s quote.? Its not about the avalanche anymore, it?s the avalanche that brought the FAMILY together..? ?Out of the over 50 avalanches attending at least 20 of them it was their first time to an STI event..?
For those of you that were not able to attend, you did miss an exceptional GTG to say the least..?
Like a few said 44 avalanches cruising together, through a very busy area of Savannah, took a lot of communication..? They were lead by Diamond Pete, Intimidatoruag, and Oveido, while Vetman had the back covered.? ?Counting the Savannah Club that we met and exchanged info with, our total number of Avalanches was 67.? And yes we did install ambers on their Avalanches before they left Saturday night..
The donations to the charity raffle were beyond expectations, and helped us reach a level that will be announced next week, after the last item is auctioned off.?

Both the adult and kids scavenger hunts went well. Except I made the kids version a little too hard..? But they all had so much fun we will do it again next year?
Hate that we weren?t able to attend JohnBs cooking demo upstairs, but things got very busy Saturday morning for me and BBD..
I was able to mod my AV, but that was on Wednesday before everyone got there, I replaced my 700 watt inverter and installed a 1500 watt one..? So a modding GTG is in the near future for me that?s for sure..
To my other coordinators thank you for doing as much as you did..? Your efforts were evident all over the GTG??

Within the next few months we will start planning on the next 2 years.? This information will be very useful, as that?s where some of the ideas for this years activities came from..
The hotel had nothing but praise for us..? That?s great considering the size of the group, and the activities and times that we were involved with in the parking lot..? The sales manager did have a hard time working Saturday afternoon, but I cant imagine why??
We will be looking at 2 different dates for the upcoming years..? And will do a cost comparison as we did this year, to see which makes more sense..?
