Humility?.... Looking back, what was your most embarrassing mod.

Mod after Mod it just kept getting worse... This "Transformer" Avalanche transformed many times.

My worst mod to my avalanche was when I tried to paint my stock rims with Duplicolor shadow paint.
Let's just say that after the first coat I knew something was just not right. The wheel had a greenish hue to it instead of anything looking like a shadow. I ended up painting the whole rim black as a result.

I absolutely refused to take a pic like that however you can look a this one and use your imagination to get an idea.

maybe they could only find a cnc router instead of a cnc laser/plasma/waterjet  but then again i wouldnt want to be caught even trying to take measurements near that thing

Are we sure all that "wood" isn't really paint? Woodgraining is pretty popular among custom painters..... That wouldn't make it any better, just sayin', I bet it's paint.....

I almost wish it was paint, but it really is wood, they highlighted the woodgrain with a torch, and then put a few coats of Varathane over top!

I've been gathering "intel" on this heap for a couple years, and can't believe some of the stuff I have seen and read about it.

One of those things that I wasn't 100% sure if it would look good or not, so I went ahead and did it. Ended up with the pace car stripes on my Firebird

Thankfully I used Vinyl so after a few weeks, after it never started growing on me (or anyone else), I was able to just peel it right off. Phew!
