So I have the 03 wbh and my speedo stopped working.? I tried to get it covered under a recall type thing with Chevy.? Called my dealer, called GM hotline, no dice.? Thought about changing the motor, but I decided to replace it instead.?

I got the Hummer cluster with the Platinum bezels and platinum needles.? I decided to go with the red needle for the speedo.? I really like it.? Thanks Prime Power for an easy transaction and a great product.? It even comes programmed with miles and hours.

Looks nice, heine12oz

Just replaced my 04 cluster with a new one (but I got the Denali type.)
I did it so I could have the trans gauge.
You did good replacing your entire cluster because the other stepper motors would probably go out eventually. The local speedo shop that reprogrammed my new one told me that they replace a LOT of GM stepper motors. Most likely your new cluster has updated motors. Fewer worries, less future grief and expense.

:B:

That is really good looking.

Is this pretty much a plug and play installation or do you have to run wiring for the transmission temp?

I have the exact one on my 03 and am about 20K miles into it now.  I still get compliments everytime someone new gets in my truck. P.S. it was all plug and play, everything is there to operate tranny guage.

the wiring is already there, it's plug and play

Thanks guys.  I love it too.  I remember someone said in another thread that "this is the one mod that you get to enjoy everyday"!  Its so true.  I love getting in the truck.  I recommend to anyone that is thinking about this mod.  It is pretty cool.

What year H2 did the cluster come out of? I am going to replace mine soon and trying to decide what to go with.

Also did you have to have it programmed to your truck, or just plug it in and go?

if you get one from primepower he programs them for you

I love 'em! Can I get one like that for an '07? I've had mine about 2 weeks and am finding the stock guages really hard to read in daylight w/ my sunglasses on (can barely see the speedo needle). I suppose the white or silver Daytona Guage Faces might be an option...

Arghh... Too many mods! Too little money.

Prime Power is a site partner and he has them all.  He can mix and match whatever you want.  It is a brand new cluster, not used.  You can do escalade, denali, hummer, ss.  many options on needles as well.  mix and match to make it your own.  He is great to work with.  check out the link
