I am always looking for a bargain on Synthetic oil

Been picking up Mobile 1 for years at Sams/Costco. Only problem is they never have Diesel.

One thing is for sure, full synthetic is the way to go.. Tore my engine down at 260K miles due to the lifter issue.
Machine shop guy called me and asked what do you want me to do with this block, crank and heads. I said Im going to
rebuild it. He said I miked everything on this engine, cylinder bores, crank and rod journals etc. They are all dead on factory
spec. That was from changing the oil every 6k with nothing but Mobile 1...
 
Not as good of a deal as the clearance oil from KN, but am I the only that uses Supertech?
It is full synthetic and Dexos Gen 3 compliant. At only $20 for 5 quarts it is almost always the best deal.
I used to go for Mobile 1 because I want to protect the motor too, but after research I believe Supertech is top of the line but rebranded with no marketing.

(Step 1, I admit it: YES I do have a motor oil addiction)
Recently Menards had 5 qts Pennzoil full synthetic $17.83 after 11% rebate, I stocked up.
As for Supertech, I've used it. NO complaints.. but usually I find something else on sale for a few pennies less.. Costco Kirkland brand is generally about the same price as Supertech.. The "clincher" for the K&N brand this time around, was the good price coupled with free shipping. I actually don't mind NOT going to Walmart.
And for the $$$I like the Supertech and Motorcraft oil filters too (Yes I have an oil filter 'collection' too)

My '03 Vette calls for Mobil 1, so when it is on sale for <$25 for 5 quarts I load up on that too..
 
Just used 6 of the 8 qts of K&N oil in my F150 so.... less per quart than the K&N deal.
