Feeling sorry that I'm missing an Av event so close to home.  So, rather than feel blue 'cuz folks are eating at Vandy's and having a good time in Nashville, I'm going to learn to be happy that

Instead of going to MCM, I get to:
  • pick up 4 splash guards for the Avy
  • go to the Braves game on Fri night
  • work on Sunday

... anyone else wanna play?

I'm going to Nashville, but not to MCM.  My wife and I are celebrating the end of my graduate school career at Opryland.  So close...yet so far away!
 
Instead of going to MCM I am going to...

Pick up a JL Stealthbox Midgate in WV!


Still wish I was at MCM though...

So close is an understatement

Opryland is across the street from the hotel.

2 things..........

1)  Yes, I'm going shopping for a new AV. (But it wont be for atleast 6-8 months. So best case senario is an 08!  (keeping fingers crossed

2)  There is NO way you could pick out my new AV with MY checkbook. (Thus the reason the old AV is gone.  :E:

Ok, lets make it 3 things....

3) Go pick out MY new AV with YOUR checkbook!!!!!  Now we're talkin!  :laugh:
 
Instead of going to MCM, I get to:

- Work on my day off Thursday (today :E:
- Ride  Harley / cruise for dinner - really means cheer up Moma Jo @ Lou's Blues >:D :cool:
- Wash the AV and Harley
- Drive to West Palm Beach Saturday for  Sunday Monday

I get to have a cookout with Diamond Pete , Diamond Girl, Modess, and Poker Guy on Saturday ( also will be watching the race Saturday night), and mow the lawn on Sunday.  Man I wish we were there!!!  You all be safe!!!  :needhug:

Because it's a mandatory "fun" event for work AND I really don't like baseball.? ?Why couldn't this be a NASCAR race... trucks would be fun!


But ya'll are right for calling me on my wish for rain.  Just because I'm forced into going somewhere to do something that I don't want to do does NOT mean that I should wish ill on the people who are looking forward to the event.
