My first Av was a green 02 Z71 with tan leather
I drove it from 2004 to 2008 and loved every mile in it. I lost it in a divorce.
Number 2 was a black 03 Z71 with grey leather. I added a leveling kit, custom wheels and krylon fusioned the cladding. I drove it from 2008 to 2019 all around the USA including a few years in Colorado. Earlier this year someone ran a stop sign in front of me and my 03 was totaled. I decided to buy the truck back from the insurance company for $950. Because i knew all the parts I have on that truck including a fresh transmission built by an aircraft mechanic that also rebuilds these particular transmissions in Colorado. You can't get a better manufactured transmission.
I just bought number 3. A charcoal 04 Z71 no cladding with grey leather. It's been lifted a little and has Silverado rims and mud tires. It has 159K miles and just a few minor flaws.
So now I'm looking for tips and advice on a few things.
I'd like to freshen-up the front-end. There are different kits available but I'm not sure how to choose.
I'm also thinking about upgrading the lights to LEDs but i really don't know where to start.
