These things probably won't add a whole lot of horse power or increase my gas mileage much but I do get two points on the ol' "Oh, Those are Kinda Neat" scale. And the best part is they cost me only 4 bucks!!
That's right, I just installed a brand new set of Shiny Blue Anodized Valve Stem Caps. Don't stand too close or the glare might hurt your eyes

MainManPaul ...

I remember my first MOD back on Feb. 7th. ?Oh those were the days!

Welcome into your Journey into MODs ... The Captain has turned off the fasten seatbelt sign .... You are now free to MOD! MOD! MOD! ? >:D

Here is the topic that XRover was thinking about: Valve Cover Caps

Got the HID Xenon 9006?s Silverstars
Installed them myself in less then 5 minutes!!!

Hello to All!!!

Performed my first mod this Saturday ten minutes after signing the papers. Took the K&N off my trade-in 2000 Sierra and swapped it for the factory box on the Avalanche. ;D

Thanks guys, I was thinking about doing something a little bit bolder for my next mod. Does applying Armor-All to the Cladding count as a mod? Seriously though, I have been thinking of adding the "Avalanche" stickers from Stripeman.com but I just can seem to cough up the $75 plus S&H in order to buy the three that I will need. With $75 I can either get big blue washed about ten times or come close to filling up the gas tank once. Anybody know where a Master Mod guy like myself can find these things a little cheaper?

MainManPaul,

I believe the Avalanche decals are $25 for all 3.

In fact you actually get 4 in case you have the GM brush guard.

Can someone confirm this?

GoldBowTie is correct. ?Unless he changed his policy, he has been shipping 4 decals although the site indicates 3. ?The 4th is for the GM Brush Guard or as I understand, it also works on the GM Avalanche hood protector. MainManPaul, excellent choice.

Don't be too proud of them because they will get stolen. Trust me I am on my 9th set and counting. Those little bastards on their BMX bikes are killing me!!! :8:

While roming the halls of walmart, I to saw the glimer of blue. Closer inspection I found that this was a mod that I could afford. A small thing that I enjoyed.

4 months later I got studded tires installed. My wife by my side as I noted the blue stems and caps were GONE. I was furious, My wife stoped me from going back in too chew some a** She noted that, chrome ones were there instead.
"SO" I said, "they wern't my blue ones..."

They do look kool tho! Can't say that to the wife tho. Still thay never asked or told me of the change!
I got the wine and crackers any cheez out there >:D
